NC FACES (Food Allergic Children Excelling Safely) is a local volunteer support group that provides a social and emotional support network for families dealing with food allergies in the RTP area of North Carolina. We strive to provide safe, fun environments for our children to excel as well as to educate others about food allergy dangers. 

The purpose of NC FACES is to: 

• Provide support and information to ensure newly diagnosed Food Allergic Families receive the support they need.
• Organize social events that allow our children to have fun while interacting with other children just like them. 
• Find creative ways to allow Food Allergic Families to attend functions that might otherwise be uncomfortable or unsafe. (Example: nut-free sections at baseball games)
• Plan local events to bring attention to the realities of food allergies.
• Share information on safe products, manufacturers, latest medical advances, and general life strategies.
• Share information about food allergies with our community striving towards positive change.
